PREL is, in most cases, a two-year program, and it is only offered in a full-time basis. This period can be extended if the student does not have a sufficient background.
PREL students are awarded the Bachelor in Economics Sciences degree ("Licenciatura"), upon approval of the 180 credit units that conform the Program and, if necessary, the additional leveling courses that the Economics Institute deems necessary.
The mandatory courses are:
· Microeconomics I · Microeconomics II · Competition and Market · Macroeconomics I · Macroeconomics II · Econometrics I · International Economy
The optional courses are equivalent to 110 credits in total. Of these:
· 60 credits are taught by the Economics Institute · 50 credits are taught by the Economics Institute or the Management School
