Fees:
The cost of the semester is $ 2,100,000 (two million one thousand Chilean pesos). To convert this amount to any other currency (for reference) check: www.xe.com/ucc.
Foreign students must also consider complementary health and life insurance, that has an approximate value of US$250 (two hundred and fifty American dollars) per semester.
Living budget for foreign students:
Students from abroad must consider in their budget monthly maintenance expenses (excluding the cost of the transfer from the country of origin) of, at least, US$900 (nine hundred American dollars). This includes accommodation expenses, alimentation, transport, etc.
Scholarships:
• Konrad Adenahuer Foundation (KAS): It is an organization related with Germany’s christian democratic movement, and grants scholarships to Chilean and foreign applicants.
• Inter-American Development Bank (IADB): It is targeted to foreign students interested in integrate themselves to graduate programs in Chile.
• World Bank: It provides the opportunity to foreign professionals of countries members of the World Bank.
• Organization of American States:(OAS, OEA in Spanish): The Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development (IACD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) administers one of the hemisphere’s largest multinational scholarships and training programs. It grants, to the foreign students, the possibility of enter to the Inter-American Program of Applied Macroeconomics.
• International Cooperation Agency of Chile (AGCI): It is intended for foreigners interested in studying postgraduate courses in Chile.
• ColFuturo: Finances Colombian graduates who study abroad, leading to degree of specialization, Masters or PhD in any area.
• Colombian Institute for Development of Science and Technology Francisco José de Caldas (COLCIENCIAS): Finances Colombian graduates who study abroad in the Masters and Doctorate levels.
• Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad (ICETEX) : Finances superior education through educational loans, to the part of the population that has the least economic possibilities and have a good academic performance.
