
The Master in Applied Macroeconomics operates in modern units of the Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences, which occupies a three floor building of
12,000 square meters approximately. This building is located in the San Joaquin Campus of the University, which has an area of
40 hectares. The Faculty’s building is equipped with modern classrooms, computer and study rooms, small conference rooms and offices for fifty teachers. There are three computer rooms for students, one of them for the exclusive use of postgraduate students of the Faculty.
The Library System of the University (
SIBUC) has one of the largest and modern library collections in
Latin America, with over 1,500,000 bibliographic items. In regard to economics and business administration subjects, the library regularly receives major journals and has over 120,000 volumes on these topics. Users can access the online catalogue of SIBUC, the catalogue of RENIB (National Bibliographic Information Network) and more than 40 international bibliographic databases on CD specialized in various disciplines. The campus is equipped with wireless network.
Within the electronic journals, the University has a subscription to
JSTOR, allowing students, both of undergraduate and postgraduate level, to access 300 scholarly journals related to the sections of arts and sciences.
The campus has extensive sporting facilities including a gym, a heated pool, several courts enabled for tennis and other sports, athletics tracks and soccer and mini soccer courts.
A few meters from the exit of the campus there is a station on the Metro line.
To stay in touch with the culture, the University has the UC Extension Centre, located on the central campus, which features art galleries, exhibition halls and cinema, communication training centre, restaurant, libraries and large auditoriums and conference rooms.
